Minor oral surgery
Information About This Service
Minor oral surgery is defined as smaller operations in the mouth. These may include removal of wisdom teeth and removal of severely broken down teeth. Some procedures may also include removal of impacted teeth and apicectomies.
Some patients may be referred to a minor oral surgery service if there regular dental practitioner cannot provide the treatment that is needed.
Here at Carlton Dental Care we see patients who have been refereed to us through the IMOS service.
IMOS is a service that provides minor oral surgery treatment where the treatment is too complex for a general dental practitioner, but not too complex enough for the hospital.
We currently have specially trained dentists who have been trained to perform minor oral surgery procedures.
